My co-worker was discussing the importance of learning a foreign language with her class. She asked, “if you are going into the military right now, what language would it be beneficial to learn?”
One kid raised his hand and replied, “British?”

A teacher friend of mine said then when she first heard about 'no child left behind' she thought there was a new law about field trips!
