I'm thinking about driving half way across the country to visit my family at Christmas. 1100 miles. That's a long way! Flights are ridiculously expensive and I thought it might be fun (or at least interesting) to drive the 17+ hours. Lots of time for books on cd and good car tunes. I'm kind of getting excited about it!
What do you think?

I would do it!! If you take the southern route, you can stop here for a rest!! But if I remember from our road trip - we took a totally different route to the North stopping in Memphis!! Aah, good times!
